How do I full screen two browsers?

I run safari and firefox to stream two games on two different displays. When I go full screen on safari, firefox minimizes. When I go full screen on firefox, safari minimizes. Back and forth over and over. How do I get them to both to stay full screen? I have a mac mini running el capitan.

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.4)

If you look in System Preferences -> Mission Control there is an option called 'Displays have separate Spaces'. If you have this enabled and put Safari in the 'Space' for Monitor1, and Firefox in the 'Space' for Monitor2 I believe this should do what you want.

You would first have both Safari and Firefox running and then launch Mission Control and then drag Safari and/or Firefox on to opposing Spaces. You can then switch between the spaces and make each full-screen.
